Now they require compatibility with a new API that includes Samsungs IMEI or serial number every time we access the server (the API doesn't care which one of the two, so I am using my serial number just because it's shorter lol). I have friends who have strange phenomena, I personally don't have a lot.Īt the same time, Samsung is also making it more difficult to download firmware from their servers. I hope to see a new update with less bugs soon. It was delayed a lot anyway (remember that updates were released for the A models before S22 with Snapdragon soc?) So there probably were and still are reasons not to push the update. Apparently Samsung admits (in this silent way) to have significant problems in the distribution of the update for S22. Android 14 firmware can no longer be downloaded using download software. The server currently reports that the updated firmware for my S22 Ultra, for example, is CWH6, which is the old Android 13 firmware. The update for Android 14 (or in its Samsung name OneUI 6.0) has disappeared from Samsungs servers for every Qualcomm S22 series device from every country/CSC (but not for S22 Exynos series). Unfortunately, after a thorough examination, there is no longer any doubt about it.
